Use this teaching resource when practicing dictionary skills with your students. Print out the activity cards on cardstock, and attach to a binder ring for students to use individually or in small groups as a reading center ts use a dictionary to complete the activity listed on the card.

Students use a dictionary to complete the activity listed on the card. Use this teaching resource when learning about dictionary skills or as a literacy group activity when developing spelling skills and strategies.

It would be a bit time consuming for my second and third grade classes to cut out all of the pieces, so I created a one page sheet and called it a Dictionary Dude.
